About these pages
These pages describe Serony and its planned app release. Some app features remain subject to launch checks before they become available.
You can contact Serony now for support, privacy questions, and account deletion requests.
The purpose of this policy
Serony shares real, first-person Christian testimonies with adults. It offers space for reading, reflection, and private prayer.
Testimonies are personal accounts, not professional verification, advice, or promises of results. Approval means suitability for Serony, not proof of every claim.
We do not claim that God selected or sent a particular testimony to its reader.
The same policy applies to first-name and Anonymous submissions. Contributor words receive human review before publication.
What you can contribute
Contribute your own genuine experience in your own words. Quiet faithfulness, unresolved difficulty, and unanswered prayer can belong in a testimony.
A written testimony contains 100–3,000 words. Scripture references and up to three public images are optional.
Describe another Christian tradition respectfully. A personal practice can appear as your experience without becoming a universal instruction for readers.
Known fabrication, plagiarism, and substantially AI-generated personal experience are not eligible.
Only use text, images, and Scripture quotations that you have the right to provide. Scripture quotations must respect context and translation copyright.
Content we do not publish
A disclaimer or supporting document cannot make unsafe content eligible. Moderators can request contributor-led changes or decline a submission.
- Promises that a prayer, offering, financial seed, or spiritual formula guarantees a result.
- Claims that illness, poverty, infertility, or unanswered prayer proves that someone lacks faith.
- Instructions to reject medical care or other qualified professional support, or dangerous medical, financial, or legal advice.
- Prophecy directed at the future reader or claims of spiritual authority over the reader's personal decisions.
- Hatred, harassment, threats, exploitation, gratuitous graphic or sexual content, or instructions for wrongdoing.
- Attacks on another Christian tradition or demeaning generalizations about another religion or its followers.
- Accusations that an identifiable person caused harm through witchcraft, possession, or demonic activity.
- Fundraising, commercial promotion, solicitation, fraud, impersonation, or intentional deception.
- Unresolved serious privacy risks, identifiable children, or prohibited details about another person.
Protect your privacy and other people
First-name or Anonymous attribution is your choice. Anonymous hides your account identity from readers, but authorized Serony reviewers can still identify the submission.
Descriptions of places, events, workplaces, or family relationships can reveal identity. Remove details that make Anonymous attribution ineffective.
Private third parties remain de-identified unless naming is benign, necessary, and supported by explicit permission.
Children and people connected to allegations, abuse, crime, diagnoses, infidelity, or serious family conflict remain de-identified, even if permission is claimed.
You can describe your own experience without seeking permission from a person who harmed you. The testimony must still protect identifying details.
Public images and supporting evidence
Public images need your ownership or permission and your accessibility description. Each image receives human review before publication.
Images must not contain identifying children, unconsenting third parties, private documents or identifiers, graphic injury, nudity, promotion, or medical before-and-after proof.
Anonymous images must not identify you through your face, workplace, home, vehicle, or another distinctive detail.
You must make any necessary removal or redaction yourself. Moderators do not edit images, files, or accessibility descriptions.
Supporting evidence remains separate, optional, and moderator-only. It requires independent second review and cannot become public proof or a verification badge.
Removing evidence does not make your testimony less eligible. Unsafe or prohibited evidence does not override the content rules.
Submission authorization and review
Submit for review and publication authorizes review and automatic publication if moderators approve your exact text, attribution, and public-image set.
Changing a submitted version requires a new authorization and review. Draft saving alone does not authorize publication.
Moderators can approve, request your changes, decline, or temporarily withhold publication. They do not rewrite your words or add Scripture.
Sensitive topics require additional review. Approved content notes or advice disclaimers can accompany your words without altering them.
You retain ownership of your original contribution. Your submission permission is nonexclusive and limited to the authorized Serony service and permitted sharing.
That permission covers hosting, safe image processing, review, display, delivery, offline copies, and approved share formats while publication remains authorized.
It does not authorize unrelated advertising, sale of your content, or AI model training. Withdrawal ends new Serony publication and delivery.
If your testimony is published, recipients may share it or capture a copy. Deleting your account will remove it from Serony and stop future delivery, but Serony cannot recall copies already shared, saved, screenshotted, or held on an offline device.
Content notes and professional care
Healing, mental health, trauma, loss, fertility, finances, and legal difficulty can appear as personal experience under heightened review.
Content notes let a reader choose whether to continue. They do not make an unsafe account suitable for publication.
Do not use a testimony as a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, financial, or legal advice, or as a reason to stop care.
Serony does not assess a reader's personal condition or guarantee a result.
Reports protective action and appeals
You can report a testimony or public image. An accepted report hides that testimony for your account without revealing internal urgency classifications.
Ordinary report volume does not determine truth or automatically remove content for everyone. Human reviewers assess the concern.
Credible urgent concerns can cause an immediate protective image hide or temporary testimony hold. These actions are not findings of contributor wrongdoing.
Intentional deception, harassment, repeated privacy violations, spam, or moderation evasion can lead to proportionate contribution restrictions.
Serious threats, exploitation, fraud, or security concerns can require stronger protective action. Permanent contribution restrictions require independent review.
A declined testimony alone is not misconduct. Inactivity, skipped matching, declined notifications, or respectful disagreement are not removal grounds.
A contributor can appeal an eligible decline, permanent unpublication, or restriction once within 30 days. Independent reviewers decide the appeal.
A pending appeal does not restore publication. We provide calm reasons where privacy, safety, and legal obligations permit.
Withdrawal and contact
You can withdraw a published testimony or public image through the relevant contribution or privacy controls.
Withdrawal ends connected access immediately and starts the published-content erasure process. Offline and external copies have the limits explained in the Privacy Notice.

This content policy does not remove statutory privacy, copyright, or consumer rights.
