About these pages
These pages describe Serony and its planned app release. Some app features remain subject to launch checks before they become available.
You can contact Serony now for support, privacy questions, and account deletion requests.
Contact Serony
For account, app, or receiving problems, contact [email protected]. For privacy choices or data-rights requests, contact [email protected].
Account deletion is available through Settings → Manage privacy or https://serony.app/account-deletion/.
Our target is to acknowledge ordinary support and privacy requests within 48 hours. Privacy work targets completion within 14 days, subject to applicable deadlines.
What to include in a request
An initial message needs only enough information to route your request. Sensitive details belong in the restricted process when they are necessary.
- State the kind of problem and the action you need.
- Include your app version and device model for a technical problem.
- For an account request, use the registered email where possible. We will verify control before account-specific action.
- Do not send passwords, recovery links, login codes, trust statements, prayer words, or identity documents through ordinary email.
- Do not send supporting evidence or unredacted medical, financial, legal, or third-party records through ordinary email.
- If a screenshot is necessary, remove private content and identifying details first.
Receiving and notification help
You can change your weekly maximum or pause receiving in Settings → Manage receiving. Pausing creates no catch-up requirement.
Device notification permission is separate from receiving. Turning off notifications does not itself pause in-app delivery.
A prepared testimony can be available offline only if the designated device downloaded it earlier. Device restrictions can prevent notification presentation.
Serony does not promise an exact delivery time or instant testimony after signup or resume.
Report a testimony or image
Use Report a concern in the testimony reader. You can identify a specific public image where that option appears.
After the server accepts your report, the testimony is hidden for your account. Human review determines any wider action.
Contributors do not receive your identity. We do not disclose private moderation or another person's account information to you.
When the in-app route is unavailable, contact [email protected] with the minimum information needed to identify the concern.
Appeal a contribution decision
You can appeal a decline, permanent unpublication, or eligible account restriction once within 30 days through the contribution process.
Independent reviewers assess the appeal. Content remains unavailable while the appeal is pending.
A revised testimony requires your own changes and a new submission authorization. Moderators do not rewrite it for you.
For an unavailable appeal route, contact [email protected].
Urgent safety concerns
Serony is not an emergency service, medical service, or crisis counseling service. Contact Serony by email for support.
The support email does not provide a 24-hour human response. Automated safety holds do not mean a person will respond immediately.
If someone is in immediate danger, seek local emergency or qualified professional help now. Do not wait for Serony support.
